This weekend Brett told me to "git"......in the most loving way of course. :) Friday night he sent me off to Barnes and Noble by myself and a bit of spending $. Woooohoooo! I browsed the decorating/sewing books and magazines and enjoyed a salted caramel frappucino. I did not want to leave Anna Ruth and may have been accused of being "too attached". Once forced to go I had such a great time!! Thank-you Brett for giving me time to just be Sara :)....and for bathing Anna Ruth and putting her to bed before I got home.
Anna Ruth is extremely curious these days. She loves sitting in mama's craft room and getting her hands on whatever's within reach! Lately, that's been a lot! I have plenty of handmade gifts and toys I'm working on coming up soon to blog. :)

Thankful for a devoted husband and dad.

And for living where Brett can hunt for a couple of hours and pop right back into the house.
I love my country life. :)

This stuffed, musical giraffe continues to be a favorite of Anna Ruth's. The friends that got it for her came over last night and brought pizza. It was so nice of them and we had a great time visiting!

Another first! Anna went to the church nursery for the first time yesterday! Sometimes she sleeps in church but the last few weeks someone's had to stand in the lobby with her and miss church. She made it 30 minutes before we saw our number flash up. Brett shot out of the pew to get her :) and then I went back too a few minutes later. Our girl was red faced and mad, complete with big tears. :( However, I went and fed her and then she went back in just fine for the rest of the service. Whew-we made it!
It was like passing my heart over the door for someone else to keep!
